Tea is one of the oldest rituals in the world, and the vessel you make it in matters more than most people realise. The Terracotta Teapot is a handcrafted clay kettle that brings the ancient tradition of clay cooking and brewing into a beautifully formed, fully functional contemporary teapot — hand-engraved with delicate line and cross motifs, fitted with a lid-knob, a generous pouring spout, and a comfortable loop handle.

Tea brewed or steeped in terracotta clay interacts differently with the vessel than it does in metal or glass. The slightly porous nature of the clay can subtly mellow the bitterness of strong teas, and the warmth-retaining properties of fired clay keep your tea at drinking temperature longer than thin ceramic.

The teapot is hand-engraved with a geometric pattern of radiating lines and cross forms — visible on the body and lid — giving it a visual richness that plain clay pots lack. The hand-thrown form has the satisfying weight and balance of a pot designed to be held and used, not just admired.

  • Material: 100% natural terracotta clay — hand-thrown, hand-engraved, kiln-fired
  • Capacity: Approximately 600–700ml
  • Best For: Herbal tea · green tea · chai · gifting · display

Pour warmth, ritual, and calm into every cup.
